A Portfolio of Event Design & Promotion

The Wish Collection is a young contemporary fashion line for fun and flirty women. Their seasonal styles reflect the bold and striking colors that cheerful women and the youth alike love to wear!

Modern Atlanta, or MA, a modern movement organization that focuses on bringing together the like-mindedness of artists, designers, muses, collaborators, researchers, and the media to one place.

My contribution to MA as the Director of Fashion continued and took on the responsibility with Co-Founder Bernard McCoy, as the Co-Curator for our  2010 fashion production.  We decided to work with the city of Paris, the theme of Paris and brought in an array of artists, such as French artists Supakitch and Koralie to do their live art amongst gathers and supporters of MA that reached 600 for this evening event.  Another supporting artist for the event European Fashion Illustrator, Jarno Kettunen.

The space, Atlanta’s commercial space  White Provisions.

Proceeds and percentages were donated to Atlanta’s home-based non-profit CARE-International, whose leadership in providing relief around the world were supported.

Through the eight months of envisioning, planning, curating, coordinating, and promoting I learned something very valuable. Working with a team is beautiful.
